I have "completed" my garden. It is 32 square feet of raised platform on which I have placed containers containing a variety of vegetables. I have four tomato plants, a tomatillo, an artichoke, a bed of radishes, sprouting beans and eggplants with cucumbers, two pepper plants, and a spate of herbs. We also have a "Topsy-Turvy" plant with a tomato and various herbs.
The platforms are on bricks and surrounded with wire fencing to protect against the rabbits. I am still watering by hand, but have the irrigation tubing to make it more automatic.
We should have a supply of food coming from these plants in the coming months. It will be interesting to see how well they survive here in the high desert. I will keep you posted on our harvests.
Where are the pictures? I want to see what it looks like before everything gets all big and grown out. It would be really nice to see pictures as your garden grows!
