We have made it back from Yuma to our base camp at Jojoba Hills, above Aguanga just east of Temecula if you are looking at the post office maps.
The weather has been pretty good. The spring rains keep trying to come through, but the warm temperatures get in the way. At least the vegetation is nice and green, and some of the birds are coming back. Life at 2,200 ft is pretty good right now.
We spent a good part of this last weekend in Palm Desert. We went to visit my sister and brother-in-law, spent the night, and then came home, forgetting the power cords to our laptops. So we went back for a second night and a very nice meal with their friends, Les and Robin out in Sun City. I hated to drive the extra miles at today's fuel prices, but we did average 24.5 mpg over the 90 mile round trips.
This next week will be busy as we take care of Doctor visits and checkups. Hopefully, there will be no news of note on those visits.
I did cut Wolf's hair, and he now looks naked. But he seems to like it and is much more spry. Maybe I should get my hair cut so I can be more spry as well.
